Ivy is an 11-year-old middle-distance runner from Central Queensland. She trains under remote coach Belinda Rule and competes across 400m to 1500m, as well as cross country, road races and triathlon
Team Ivy needed a website that could tell her story properly, and one that could also help bring in the support that a young, ambitious athlete needs.
The brief called for a clean, single-page site that feels personal but still professional enough to present to potential sponsors. Travel, race entries, equipment and coaching all add up quickly for a junior athlete, so the site needed to make it easy for businesses and supporters to see who Ivy is, what she’s achieved, and how they can get behind her.
The website was designed and built around the tagline “Chasing records, one race at a time”. It has a clear About section, a results snapshot, a photo gallery from her races, a sponsorship section that explains where support goes, and a simple contact form for sponsorship enquiries or season updates. The imagery and layout are energetic and sporty, without losing the clean, uncluttered feel that keeps the focus on Ivy.
The result is a polished online home for a young athlete that her family can share with confidence, and one that grows with her as the seasons go on.
